Brazzers Releases First-Sponsored Porno In ‘Adult Advertising’

"If sex sells, why not be the brand behind that sex?"

Sponsored porn? Yes that’s right.

Brazzers is taking advertising to new, exciting places. What better place to promote your product than in front of an exceedingly large male audience that fits your demographic?

“We call it Adult Advertising”

– Gary Ticher (Brazzers Marketing Director)

The series, appropriately titled “1 800 Phone Sex” was sponsored by One-Eight Hundred-Phone Sex and features Brazzers A-listers, Holly Hendrix, Isis Love, Sierra Nicole, Amia Miley in the phone-line’s branded clothing, parodying a typical sex hotline call. The episodes take viewers through the experiences of all three girls, aptly titled “Line 1”, “Line 2”, “Line 3”, “Line 4”.

The series summary follows the sexual escapades of The One-Eight Hundred-Phone Sex girls. They pay customers personal visits, receive visits from talented clients, and experiment with each other during training

While porn sites have sponsored products in the mainstream before, and while collaborations with adult toy brands have been incorporated into porn scenes, this is one of the first corporate sponsored videos for the adult industry. Mainstream brands such as Diesel have also partnered with adult brands like PornHub to place ads on the website.

Adult Advertising

The Brazzers Marketing Director, Gary Ticher, expressed excitement with this new form of advertising.

“This was an exciting experience and one we’re looking to do more of. Being able to work with brands both inside and outside of the adult industry allows us to create a piece of advertising that users more thoroughly enjoy. We call it ‘Adult Advertising’. Hey. If sex sells, then why not be the brand behind that sex?

Where could this take us?

The adult entertainment industry is ever-evolving; with the advent of ‘Adult Advertising’ advertising execs may increasingly see the value of targeting their audiences via adult entertainment. Fortunately, this is already being done with a handful of brands. While these brands aren’t all mainstream-centered, they certainly are forward-thinking when it comes to targeting consumers. Brands like Diesel and One-Eight Hundred-Phone Sex have noticed the clear potential for exposure to massive markets that remain relatively untapped. And, speaking strictly from a strategic marketing point of view, what better avenue to positively associate your brand to consumers than when they are in the throes of a positively pleasurable experience?
